Description of service provided
The aim of the Law Centre is to give people the information and help they need to exercise their legal rights and entitlements. We provide free legal advice and representation to individual clients and a range of other services including consultancy and support to other agencies, community development, social policy and campaigning work.
We help people who have no income or who have a low income, and those who have been discriminated against. We can help people living or working in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. In discrimination cases we can help people living or working in the South West of England, although our capacity is limited.
We provide free legal advice and representation to individual clients and a range of other services including consultancy and support to other agencies, community development, social policy and campaigning work.
Our Equal Opportunities Policy provides the framework for all our activities and we are committed to promoting anti-discriminatory practice. Priority is given to issues of discrimination in all areas of work.
